Legal and Safety

RWT are fully approved by the NICEIC - the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting. These are an independent consumer safety organisation who maintains a register of approved contractors. Becoming NICEIC approved involves stringent annual assessments to ensure that all of its members comply with British Safety Standards BS7671.

Since January 1st 2005 when domestic wiring became part of the Building Regulations (Part P), it is now illegal for uncertified people to carry out certain work - even in their own home. At RWT we are fully trained and certified to conduct any works in accordance with all legislation and requirements.

Health and Safety Policies

On site or in the home, all of our team work to strictest of safety standards. At RWT, we consistently seek to improve our standards exceeding Health and Safety legislation that are applicable to our work activities. All subcontractors and employees of RWT electrical are committed to providing a safe workplace to themselves and others ensuring that any risk to health and safety is eliminated or reduced to a minimum.
